Knitting Fever
Whenever I see a clever and well-executed idea, like the Yarn Harlot's Knitting Olympics, I am dazzled and bewildered. How do people a) come up with these ideas and b) use them without (or even with) fear of lameness. Anyway, it is a good idea and I am going to be on the Lace Knitting Team.
I know that The Knottie Knitter is making a sweater for the first time, so she may want to check out this page , which Dene, was kind enough to show me.
I'm making the lace scarf in Knit Scarves one of the books Jen bought me for Christmas. I have little patience for complicated patterns, so although one scarf may seem negligible to others, it is extremely intimidating to me. I hope to shake off the shackles of lace fear and run free among the ssk and yo stitches that frustrate me (although not, apparently, on socks).
The Knottie Knitter is going to help me navigate my blog this weekend, and hopefully it will look nicer when we are done.

Without fear of lameness?
Easy. I already know I'm lame. Just gotta be who you are.
