Soccer Mom Sweater
My yarn from Webs arrived on Wednesday, and I pretty much went right to work.
I really needed those extra balls of yarn. I ended up picking up on the bottom and adding another two inches (it looked like a crop top before I did).
Please excuse the feet.
This is the Soccer Mom Sweater from the Yarn Girl's Guide to Beyond the Basics with Filatura di Crosa Super Soft in color 6.
I changed the pattern around a little. In addition to using a different yarn (I loved using this yarn; I kept making Phil look at it and touch it, but I don't think he loved it as much), I used only 15s instead of 17s and I ribbed it rather than using st st. I made the small with the medium sleeves (so the ribbing wouldn't impact the fit), and, as I said, I added to the bottom.
You can imagine how poofy it would be without the ribbing, since it still poofs a little with it, as you can see. Overall I love it and I am so glad I made it.
PS-The sweater isn't crooked-I am. I just realized how obvious my crookedness (in a purely physical sense) is in that picture.

You don't know me from Adam but I am a knitter in Australia and I am really, really keen to get my hands on a few more balls of this exact yarn. A friend of mine is knitting a sweater from it and is a few balls short of a jumper... and it's been dicontinued here in Aus! Could you possibly let me know either where you purchased it from, or if you have a few spare I could purchase? Thanks so much for a great site by the way - huge inspiration for me :).
