Phil's Famous Sauteed Steak
Hello!
Recently I had a request for another "simple" recipe. I pondered and decided Phil's steak sauce recipe was perfect. Instead of emailing, I am posting because it is just that good.
Ingredients
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
1/8 cup of olive oil (for a healthy alternative, try 1 cup of beef stock)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp curry powder
some parsley
Steak of some kind (whatever is on sale is our usual method)
Directions
Mix all of the above ingredients except the steak and set aside. Heat a small amount of oil in a pan. Cook the steak in the oil until it has only a few minutes left to finish (depends on how you like your steak). Pour the steak sauce over the whole she-bang and cook until the sauce reduces to a thin layer in the pan.
That's it!
We serve this with steamed veggies and some rice (and then we pour the sauce from the pan over the whole thing).
